Fidelity Investments is best known as a financial services company dedicated to enabling our clients to achieve lifelong financial independence and peace of mind. Fidelity Investments is also a technology company. We’re exploring new technologies like Virtual and Augmented Reality, Blockchain, and AI, as well as unexpected applications of new hardware/software including (but certainly not limited to) immersive user interfaces, interactions with digital agents, and zero UI. The Fidelity Data Visualization prize will be awarded to the project that evolves two-dimensional (2D) renderings of data into three dimensions (3D) and most effectively combines the following criteria within an innovative, technological solution to the challenge of articulating the value of data in a visually compelling format.
